AUDIOLOGY ADVISOR
About MindAffect:
MindAffect is specialized in the application of artificial intelligence and neuroscience to enhance
neural circuit testing and human communication. Our unique patented BCI/AI algorithms interpret
EEG & EMG signals at an enhanced level of speed and accuracy which allow accurate interpretation
of the validity of this pathway for all patient groups – (not just those who can respond!).
We are currently developing ground-breaking solutions that will make audiological testing
significantly easier and faster, allowing us to deliver a solution that will help in tackling the growing
global issue of hearing loss. MindAffect is looking for an audiology advisor who can join us in our
journey towards bringing our solution to the market.
The Role (0.1 - 0.2 FTE):
As an audiology advisor you will act as a sounding board to the company’s management, challenge
the research engineers on their assumptions, research results and thinking. Most importantly, you
will use the experience that you gained in the field to support us in developing a solution that will
help a countless number of people.
The ideal candidate is a person who has:

A deep understanding of audiology, including the anatomy and physiology of the auditorysystem, hearing assessment techniques, and hearing rehabilitation methods.

A strong network within the Dutch healthcare ecosystem, allowing you to connectMindAffect with other opinion leaders.

Excellent communication skills, allowing you to explain complex concepts to variousstakeholders in a clear and understandable way.

Empathy and compassion as hearing loss can be a difficult and emotional experience forpatients. As an advisor you possess the ability to connect and engage with the mostimportant stakeholders, being patients and their families.

Strong interpersonal skills that are based on your earlier cooperation with other healthcareprofessionals, such as ear, nose, and throat (ENT) doctors.

The ability to collaborate effectively as part of a dynamic and passionate health-tech team.
Where you will work:
The job can be mostly performed remotely. However, it would be helpful for you to be able to meet
the team in the office no more than one time per month. The office is located in Ede, Netherlands.
Our growing team currently consists of 9 international R&D engineers and software specialists who
are highly enthusiastic and committed professionals.
